In case you live under a rock, Ole Miss is hosting ESPN’s College GameDay in the Grove this weekend for the first time in history when No. 3 Alabama comes to town.

The GameDay crew has now officially arrived in Oxford, and they’ve already begun constructing the set for Saturday’s pregame festivities. The popular Twitter account @OleMissPix has been documenting all the prep work in the Grove, so here’s some behind-the-scenes photos for those who can’t wait for Saturday.

Here’s “The Pit,” where fans will gather to watch the show, yell like maniacs, hold signs that vary from humorous to highly offensive, and frantically wave from the background with a hope their family and friends will see them on TV.

Here’s the stage, where hosts Chris Fowler, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit and Desmond Howard will break down a full weekend of college football action in a three-hour window.

Here’s the mock field, where Howard, Herbstreit, David Pollack and other former college football greats relive their glory days while explaining the X’s and O’s to the fans.

And in case you thought the excitement ended with the GameDay crew, here’s a shot of the CBS bus arriving in Oxford to broadcast the game to a national audience in the network’s weekly 3:30 PM ET time slot. No Verne Lundquist or Gary Danielson sightings (yet).
