Smith is the No. 1 overall player from the JUCO ranks in the class of 2024, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. The standout receiver is listed at 6-foot-4, 190 pounds.
Ole Miss will be hoping Smith can be an instant impact player in its offense next season. The Rebels are coming off of a 10-win regular season in 2023 and are expected to be good again next season as quarterback Jaxson Dart is set to return for another year.
In 8 games this season at Holmes Community College, Smith caught 48 passes for 1,063 yards and 12 touchdowns. His average of 22.1 yards per reception would place him amongst college football’s best deep threats if he’s able to translate that level of efficiency to the next level.
