Ole Miss didn’t receive good news on the injury front Monday. Rebels coach Matt Luke announced in a press conference that defensive end Ryder Anderson will miss at least four weeks while defensive tackle Patrick Lucas Jr. is out for the rest of the season.

Lucas tore his Achilles tendon while Anderson is dealing with a knee injury.

Anderson has become an important part of the Ole Miss defensive line as a junior. He has 14 total tackles, including eight solos in five games. Lucas, who is a freshman, saw his role expanding recently and has three total tackles this season.

The Rebels will look to put their defensive line injuries behind them as they host Vanderbilt this Saturday.
