Ole Miss didn’t receive good news on the injury front Monday. Rebels coach Matt Luke announced in a press conference that defensive end Ryder Anderson will miss at least four weeks while defensive tackle Patrick┬áLucas Jr. is out for the rest of the season.

Lucas tore his Achilles tendon while Anderson is dealing with a knee injury.

Anderson has become an important part of the Ole Miss defensive line as a junior. He has 14 total tackles, including eight solos in five games. Lucas, who is a freshman, saw his role expanding recently and has three total tackles this season.

The Rebels will look to put their defensive line injuries behind them as they host Vanderbilt this Saturday.
