The Ole Miss Rebels made a surprising decision to fire coach Matt Luke on Sunday, after it had previously seemed like he would return in 2020.

Now, they’re losing another player, this one to the NCAA transfer portal.

Per a report from AL.com’s Matt Zenitz, OL Bryce Matthews, son of former NFL lineman Jason Matthews, will explore graduate-transfer options:

Matthews was a 4-star offensive lineman and 2019 was his redshirt junior season. He was listed on preseason depth charts as a co-starter at right tackle.

Where will he end up next? It’s also possible he could return to Ole Miss when it hires a new head coach.
