One of the more surprising players to go undrafted during the 2019 NBA Draft was Ole Miss guard Terence Davis, who seemed to perform well during the pre-draft process.

After the draft, he was given the opportunity to sign a couple of two-way deals with NBA teams, which include stipulations that the player gets paid proportionally based on whether they’re in the NBA or the G-League.

Davis held out, though, and it turned out to pay off for him. According to NBA insider Shams Charania, Davis has signed a two-year deal with the Toronto Raptors:

That’s a big deal for Davis, who now has a full guarantee for year one and gets to play for the defending NBA champions.

Yes, the Raptors lost star F Kawhi Leonard this offseason already, but it’s still a good team. We’ll see what sort of role Davis can make for himself this year in Toronto.
