Former 4-star recruit Grant Tisdale will reportedly leave Ole Miss and enter his name into the transfer portal according to 247Sports.

Tisdale didn’t even last a year at Ole Miss. He arrived in Oxford as an early enrollee in January but has spent most of this season behind Matt Corral and John Rhys Plumlee on the depth chart.

The freshman quarterback is the sixth Ole Miss player to leave the program and enter the transfer portal this season.

Tisdale played in just one game against Alabama, of all teams, late in a blowout loss on Sept. 28. He completed his only two pass attempts for 56 yards and a touchdown. Tisdale also recorded 10 rushing yards on two attempts.

Plumlee underwent minor knee surgery last week with Ole Miss having the bye on Saturday, but at practice, head coach Matt Luke said Corral was taking all the snaps with the No. 1 offense and Tisdale was clearly the No. 2.

Plumlee has only completed 47.6 percent of his passes for 456 yards, four touchdowns and one interception. Corrall has a 59.9 completion percentage, 1,101 passing yards, four touchdowns and two picks.

It’s unclear at this time where Tisdale may land after transferring. He reportedly received 11 scholarship offers from Power 5 schools last year.
