Chalk up at least one casualty for Ole Miss following the start of fall camp as junior defensive back C.J. Moore has reportedly undergone surgery after sustaining an injury during the first week of camp.

According to sources of Daniel Paulling of the Clarion-Ledger, Moore had his surgery to repair a torn pectoral muscle over the weekend and unfortunately may now miss the entire season.

Moore has made an appearance in all 26 games of his Ole Miss career, either on special teams or in the secondary, and had been getting an opportunity to compete for the starting role at strong safety during fall camp. In two years, Moore has accumulated 28 career tackles for the Rebels.
