Tim Brando is no stranger to bold opinions about college football, and this year he didn’t hold back.

Appearing on “The Jboy Show,” Brando offered a strong take on how the SEC West would unfold.

“Mark this down, OK?,” Brando said. “At Ole Miss, he is going to beat either Bama, either LSU, either A&M. One of those 3, the Big 3, one of those 3 will go down courtesy Ole Miss, solely because of matchups. And by the way, Alabama I would probably put no worse than second on that list. You could make a case because LSU with their secondary issues a year ago that they’re hopefully going to get fixed, they certainly need to get fixed, they would probably be the most likely to lose to Ole Miss. But I think I would put Alabama next. I really do, I mean they have no fear in anything Bama does defensively.”

Brando even took it one more step, and compared Kiffin to a coaching legend.

“He’s the (Steve) Spurrier of this generation,” Brando said. “He’s like, ‘I’m a quicker gun, man, I’ve got something for you right here.’ And in (Matt Corral), we’re talking about the first quarterback that’s going to be taken in the draft if he stays upright through the course of this season.”
