WATCH: Ole Miss fans chant 'Hotty Toddy' on flight back from Houston
Ole Miss fans love it but more than a few other programs such as LSU and Mississippi State love to hate it.
The Hotty Toddy cheer can often be heard echoing through The Grove on Saturdays during the fall in Oxford but it can travel the country too, as some fans recently showed.
A number of Ole Miss fans joined in the chant on a flight presumably headed from somewhere in Texas back toward the east coast.
Condolences to the four people on this flight not traveling back from the Ole Miss-Texas Tech game pic.twitter.com/JZXUgbLO1A

One of the underrated parts of neutral site games is traveling the site of the game with a bunch of people wearing the same colors and cheering for the same team. These fans took full advantage of that opportunity.
They had plenty of reason to cheer as well. The Rebels easily took care of Texas Tech 47-27 on Saturday in Houston at the AdvoCare Texas Kickoff. Junior running back Scottie Phillips put on one of the best performances of the day, rushing for 204 yards on 16 carries with two touchdowns.
I know I can probably google and find out but you Johnny reb fans can probably explain it better. So could you please explain the hottie toddy chant/song… to this old hillbilly. What’s the story behind it.
Open your Google search bar and copy and paste this “Hotty Toddy: Understanding the Ole Miss Cheer, Its History & Significance”.
What else do you expect from a bunch of Ole Miss cow enthusiasts than a meaningless cheer by drunk frat boys
Cow enthusiasts…what a great burn…
How many days until Basketball season?
I was at the game last year in Lexington
I thought since Patterson was injured we had the game in the bag and out of nowhere Tamu comes in and throws it over and over to that big receiver an KY couldn’t stop it and we lost on the last playoff the game
Those damn ole miss fans would not shut up with the hotties crap
That
Close but no cigar!
