12 SEC teams included in Pro Football Network’s early 2021 bowl projections

The 2021 college football season is still more than a month away, but preseason projections are starting to come out.

This week, Oliver Hodgkinson of Pro Football Network put together his early 2021 bowl projections, and 12 SEC squads were included.

As you can see below, Alabama and Texas A&M are expected to meet in a College Football Playoff semifinal. The only 2 SEC squads not expected to qualify for the postseason are Vanderbilt and South Carolina:

• Gator Bowl vs. Boston College

Mississippi State

• Gasparilla Bowl vs. Virginia Tech

Missouri

• Music City Bowl vs. Michigan

Ole Miss

• Citrus Bowl vs. Wisconsin

Tennessee

• Duke’s Mayo Bowl vs. Pitt

Texas A&M

• Cotton Bowl (CFP) vs. Alabama
