How many will go undrafted? Notable SEC players still on NFL Draft board entering final day
The SEC has shattered several NFL Draft records through 3 rounds. The conference set a record for the most first-round picks with 15 Thursday night, and then, it broke the record for the most draft picks through 2 rounds with 25.
All total, the SEC has more draft picks (40) than the Big Ten (17), Big 12 (12) and ACC (8) combined through 3 rounds. The SEC haters are having a tough weekend.
LSU has had the most players drafted with 10, and several will go Saturday, too. In fact, LSU set a school record all-time just through 3 rounds, along with tying Ohio State for the most picks through 3 rounds. Alabama is second with 9 draft picks. A whopping 18 percent of drafted players have come from the Tigers and Crimson Tide (19 draft picks of 106 picks through Round 3) thus far.
However, there are still several really good players left on the board. Among the notables, Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm is still undrafted. He should be taken rather quickly on Saturday. Tennessee standout receivers Marquez Callaway and Jauan Jennings are still on the board, too.

Albert O and Durant should get selected at some point. But Kelly Bryant is a different story, I’m not sure why he’s even listed as a draft notable.
A fun side bet for those who are into that sort of thing would be if Blankenship goes before Fromm.
Kickers are rarely drafted but I think Blankenship is special. It wouldn’t surprise me if he went before Fromm. Fromm wasn’t overly impressive. He’s the epitome of a game managing, pocket passer. He might even be an undrafted free agent.
Fromm will most likely be taken this round. He is the second ranked available QB, after Eason. Blankenship will most likely go in the seventh round, if at all.
It’s hard to believe Fromm would go undrafted but you’re correct, there’s really nothing special about him physical wise. We know his combine wasn’t great but I’m beginning to wonder if was even more of a disaster than originally reported.
The first four guys from LSU should all be drafted. I believe their grades are all 5th round or better. The other two, along with Ferguson and Sullivan don’t have seven round grades but still have a shot to be drafted. I’m very interested to see where LSU finishes up.
Some of these guys (Freddie Swain, Rodrigo Blankenship) will probably sign with teams as undrafted free agents.
Speed is probably the issue with some of the wide receivers still on the board (Lawrence Cager, Jauan Jennings).
Methinks you left a team out when constructing your list.
