2023 NCAA softball tournament schedule: SEC start times for Saturday, May 20

The 2023 NCAA softball tournament is off and running with regional action underway across the country! With the schedule for Saturday, May 20, a number of teams are fighting to stay alive in the double-elimination format while teams in the winners’ bracket are looking to advance to the regional championships.
On Friday, some of the highlights out of the SEC including Tennessee and Georgia notching run-rule victories while no-hitting their competition. Payton Gottshall shined for the Vols while striking out 9 batters in a win over Northern Kentucky. Georgia also registered a combined no-hitter after opening Friday’s game with a 12-run 1st inning.
Across the board, the SEC fared very well in the opening round of the tournament. South Carolina was the only team from the league to lose on Friday with every other program safely through to the winners’ bracket in their respective regionals.
