4 SEC teams make top 10 of annual survey of college athletics revenue

SEC teams were well represented in the latest annual survey of finances in college athletics.
USATODAY on Monday released the list and it noted that Texas A&M is second in the country with a revenue of $212.3 million. With revenue of $177.5 million, Alabama is No. 5 in the list published Monday. Georgia was sixth $176.6 million.
Texas remains No. 1 with $219.4 million coming into the department followed by Texas A&M at $212.4 million.
The SEC had four of the top 10 revenue-producing programs with No. 10 Florida at $161.1 million and Auburn was No. 12 at $147.6 million.
In terms of spending, the SEC list begins with Alabama, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Florida, Auburn and LSU.
