The 2020 NBA Draft may be in flux now, but it will take place at some point before the 2020-21 season tips off.

There are a handful of SEC players who could go in Round 1 when the draft takes place, and all of them could even go in the lottery.

On Tuesday, Yahoo Sports analyst Rob Dauster updated his Round 1 mock draft, and as you can see below, he had 5 SEC stars going in the first 30 picks:

  • No. 2 — Anthony Edwards, G, Georgia — Cleveland Cavaliers
  • No. 4 — Isaac Okoro, F, Auburn — Atlanta Hawks
  • No. 12 — Aaron Nesmith, F, Vanderbilt — Sacramento Kings
  • No. 15 — Tyrese Maxey, G, Kentucky — Orlando Magic
  • No. 24 — Kira Lewis Jr., G, Alabama — Utah Jazz

Other SEC players could move into the Round 1 mix over the next few weeks, but we’ll see what the pre-draft process looks like moving forward.
