9 SEC players named first-team All-American by Athlon Sports

The college football season is right around the corner, and All-American teams are starting to be released.

The latest is from Athlon Sports, which named nine SEC players first-team All-Americans.

To headline the release, Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa was named first-team All-American over Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence. Overall the SEC had the most players (26) listed of any conference. The Big Ten was second with 21 and the ACC was third with 18.

Below are all the SEC players included on all four All-American teams:
