With each passing week, the Heisman Trophy race seems more and more like a foregone conclusion.

Recent odds reflect that, at least the ones tweeted by Stadium Network’s Brett McMurphy on Monday. Super Book USA lists Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa as a 2/3 favorite to win the Heisman, with Oklahoma signal-caller Kyler Murray lurking behind him with 3/1 odds.

A handful of other SEC players are being considered, too, but they’re all longshots when compared with Tagovailoa and his mind-boggling numbers. The closest is Kentucky running back Benny Snell at 60/1 odds, though his chances took a hit in the Wildcats’ overtime loss at Texas A&M last Saturday.

Four SEC players are sitting in a group with 100/1 odds: Georgia’s Jake Fromm and D’Andre Swift, Missouri’s Drew Lock and Texas A&M’s Trayveon Williams.
