AP Men's Basketball Poll, Feb. 20: 3 SEC teams included in updated top 25 rankings
The AP Men’s Basketball Poll has been updated after a topsy turvy week of college hoops!
Alabama, last week’s No. 1 team, fell at Tennessee on Wednesday night and, thus, fell out of the top spot in the rankings. Houston is the new top team in the nation, with Alabama falling to No. 2 and No. 3 Kansas, No. 4 UCLA and No. 5 Purdue rounding out the top 5.
A total of 3 SEC teams — No. 2 Alabama, No. 11 Tennessee and No. 25 Texas A&M — crack the top 25 in this week’s rankings.
Kentucky, Arkansas and Mizzou are among the teams also receiving votes in this week’s AP Poll.
