The final AP Men’s Basketball Poll of the 2022-23 season has been released, and there’s a shakeup at the top.

After a dominant performance in the SEC Tournament, Alabama is the new No. 1 team, leapfrogging Houston. Alabama is also the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament. Now the Tide will begin their march toward the Final Four.

A total of 4 SEC teams — No. 1 Alabama, No. 17 Texas A&M, No. 20 Tennessee and No. 23 Mizzou — cracked the top 25 this week.

Kentucky was the only SEC team mentioned in the “Also Receiving Votes” section of this week’s poll.
