AP Poll Week 12: 5 SEC teams included in updated top 25 rankings

The AP Poll has been released following a tumultuous week around the world of college football. A few potential College Football Playoff contenders fell on Saturday, even if the top 5 all took care of business.

Last week’s top 5 of No. 1 Georgia, No. 2 Ohio State, No. 3 Michigan, No. 4 TCU and No. 5 Tennessee all stayed in place.

A total of 5 SEC teams — No. 1 Georgia, No. 5 Tennessee, No. 6 LSU, No. 8 Alabama and No. 14 Ole Miss — cracked the top 25 in this week’s poll.

Florida was among the teams also receiving votes.
