Some that don’t really know Baker Mayfield may have a negative perception of him but those that know him best sing his praises. That’s likely because the character he recently displayed at Browns camp was nothing more than typical behavior for the starting quarterback from Cleveland.

The Browns are finally a team worth rooting for, in large part thanks to the second-year signal-caller and the talent he flashed last season during his NFL debut.

Mayfield is now armed with plenty of ammunition having both Jarvis Landry and Odel Beckham to throw to and Nick Chubb to hand the ball off to up in Cleveland.

Despite his success, Mayfield has not forgotten the team is nothing with its fans and he showed that recently by refusing to leave the practice field before signing autographs and taking photos with some uniformed soldiers at practice.
