With Christmas just around the corner, we’re starting to see more bowl matchups, and Friday’s slate provides us with two intriguing games.

Though no Power 5 teams are taking part in Friday’s festivities, there are some talented mid-major squads playing in bowl games that couldn’t be more different climate-wise.

First up is the Bahamas Bowl in Nassau, where it is currently 76 degrees. Then, this afternoon, the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl kicks off in Boise, where the game-time temperature is expected to be 40 degrees. Here’s how you can watch each of today’s bowl matchups:

Makers Wanted Bahamas Bowl

  • Toledo vs. Florida International — 12:30 p.m. Eastern time, ESPN

Famous Idaho Potato Bowl

  • BYU vs. Western Michigan — 4 p.m. Eastern time, ESPN

Four more bowl games are scheduled for Saturday, then there’s a break for Christmas.
