Braylen Russell is starting to narrow down is list of potential future programs.

The 4-star prospect announced a top 5 on Friday that includes 4 SEC programs. Arkansas, Tennessee, Texas A&M and South Carolina all made the cut. Russell is also still considering Baylor.

Russell is an Arkansas native. He attends Benton High School in Benton, Arkansas. He’s listed at 6-foot-2, 230 pounds.

He would be a major addition for any of these programs in the class of 2024. Russell is currently ranked as the No. 288 overall player and the No. 25 running back in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 4 player from the state of Arkansas.

According to 247Sports’ Crystal Ball projections, the hometown Razorbacks are currently favored to win Russell’s commitment.

Arkansas currently has 5 commitments in the class of 2024. The Hogs’ class ranks No. 22 nationally, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
