Football in 2020 is just different, from the NFL all the way down to the high school level. Some high schools around the country are playing, while others are not or are delayed. It just depends on the state.

In Mississippi — they’re playing high school football.

Vardaman High School coach Brennan Pugh was quarantined Friday night due to the coronavirus; however, that didn’t stop him from being quarantined and coaching.

Pugh’s incredible attempts went viral on social media Friday night, as he rented a lift and parked it in his backyard in order to coach his team. The photo was first shared by Mississippi reporter and analyst Brad Logan. Logan circled Pugh on the lift.

Photographer Reed Jones later shared closeup photos of Pugh on the lift. As you can see, he had his headset on and his play sheet in hand.

Unfortunately for Pugh, Vardaman lost the game to Holly Springs 20-14, but this coaching setup won’t soon be forgotten.
