Bru McCoy may have just broken the NCAA’s transfer portal.

If the name doesn’t ring a bell, the five-star 2019 recruit committed to USC over Texas on national television during the All-American Bowl.  McCoy has since arrived at USC as an early enrollee on Jan. 8 but is apparently having second thoughts following his decision.

Multiple reports suggest McCoy is leaving USC and the five-star prospect is currently listed in 247Sports Transfer Portal database. McCoy is now the first early enrollee to ever jump into the transfer portal.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound Santa Ana, Ca., native is listed as the No. 9 overall prospect and the No. 1 athlete in the nation by 247Sports Composite Rankings. While he may have signed at USC just over two weeks ago, McCoy is now available for schools to offer.
