CBS Sports updates SEC bowl projections after Week 4

We’re just 4 weeks into the 2021 college football season, but fans and experts everywhere are looking at the postseason picture.

CBS Sports expert Jerry Palm updated his Bowl Season forecast after Week 4’s games. The big change from Palm is that Arkansas is now looking at going to a New Year’s Six bowl after taking down Texas A&M, a team Palm had NY6 bound. Palm now has the Aggies outside the NY6 picture.

Here are Palm’s SEC projections:

Alabama

Cotton Bowl (CFP Semifinal) vs. Oregon

Arkansas

Sugar Bowl (NY6) vs. Texas

Auburn

Duke’s Mayo Bowl vs. North Carolina

Florida

Outback Bowl vs. Penn State

Georgia

Orange Bowl (CFP Semifinal) vs. Oklahoma

Kentucky

Music City Bowl vs. Michigan

LSU

Gator Bowl vs. Wake Forest

Missouri

Liberty Bowl vs. Kansas State

Ole Miss

Texas Bowl vs. Iowa State

Tennessee

Birmingham Bowl vs. Kent State

Texas A&M

Citrus Bowl vs. Michigan State
