Chris Christie on Laremy Tunsil: 'I would've gone in and cuffed this guy'
There’s no question that the most talked about event of the 2016 NFL Draft has been Laremy Tunsil and his terrible, no good, very bad social media day on Thursday night.
In case you missed it (how could you have missed it?), the former Ole Miss offensive tackle’s Twitter and Instagram accounts were hacked, and he capped the night off by admitting he received money from Ole Miss coaches during his presser following the Miami Dolphins’ decision to select him with the No. 13 overall pick.
The Twitter account hack came first, and it created a massive stir after a video of Tunsil smoking a bong while wearing a gas mask was leaked to his followers.

Everyone had an opinion about it, including New Jersey governor and former Republican presidential candidate Chris Christie.
Christie is a former prosecutor who served as the U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey from 2002-08.
On Friday, he was a guest host on the Boomer & Carton Show.
According to BuzzFeed, which grabbed some quotes from the soundbites of Christie’s time on the airwaves, Christie said he would have arrested Tunsil after seeing the video.
“It’s unbelievable,” Christie said. “Because the bong hits aren’t enough. Give me the gas mask too. It’s incredible. I can’t take my eyes off it. It’s unbelievable.”
Earlier in the interview, Christie, who opposes marijuana legalization, said, “When I was a prosecutor, I would’ve gone in and cuffed this guy,” adding, “I would’ve been all over it.”
Christie also expressed sympathy towards Tunsil, saying, “Poor kid in that respect. I mean, he did it. But who’s the guy that hates him enough that they had access to the video and put it on. I mean, wow.”
