It’s no secret that some of the nation’s best coaching positions are located in the SEC, especially after the conference’s run of dominance earlier in the 2000s.

Therefore, it should come as no surprise that FOX Sports host Colin Cowherd thinks four SEC coaching positions are among the 10 best jobs in the nation.

As you can see below, Cowherd has Alabama at No. 1, thanks in large part to what Nick Saban has done there the past 10 years. Then, he also has LSU at No. 3, Florida at No. 4 and Georgia at No. 6:

Among the other conferences, the Big 12 and ACC each had two teams in the top 10, while the Big Ten and Pac-12 only got one each.

Even as questions about SEC dominance these days abound, it’s clear that the most highly-coveted jobs are located in the conference. As Tennessee, Florida and potentially other schools look for new coaches this offseason, it will be interesting to see which names pop up in the SEC next year.
