College football fans troll Oklahoma, Texas for College GameDay chant
The Red River Showdown is contested once again on Saturday as Oklahoma and Texas resume their annual matchup inside Cotton Bowl Stadium in Dallas. The No. 6 Sooners, off to a 5-0 start but looking very unconvincing in the process, will look to make it 4 wins in a row against their Big 12 archrival.
And it will be a rivalry that will resume once the Sooners and Longhorns leave the Big 12 and begin playing in the SEC starting with the 2025 football season. With the “College GameDay” crew broadcasting outside the game’s venue on Saturday morning, the SEC chants among the fans in attendance didn’t take long to get fired up, as you can see and hear below:

Time will tell how much of a fit the Sooners and Longhorns will be in the conference, but for now, both programs will be playing out their remaining time in the Big 12 until the move 4 years from now, or maybe sooner. Meanwhile, college football fans took some time to troll the future SEC programs on social media:

Its like putting in your LinkedIn profile that you are a manager when youre just assistant manager. They should wait until 2025 to start chanting that.
