Another weekend, another upset in college football.

This time it was previously undefeated Oklahoma going down at the hands of Baylor, 27-14.

The loss pretty much eliminates the Sooners as a College Football Playoff hopeful, as the list of contenders continues to shrink with just 2 weeks remaining in the regular season.

On Sunday morning, CBS analyst and former Florida State quarterback Danny Kanell released his latest top 8 teams via Twitter, and there was some movement following Oklahoma’s loss.

Not surprisingly, Georgia remained in the top spot on Kanell’s list, while Cincinnati was at No. 2, Oregon at No. 3, and Ohio State at No. 4.

Alabama, meanwhile, moved up a spot from a week ago to No. 5. The Crimson Tide were followed by No. 6 Notre Dame, No. 7 Oklahoma State, and No. 8 Wake Forest, some of whom might be considered a surprise over Michigan and/or Michigan State.

The Sooners, who were 2nd on Kanell’s list a week ago, dropped out of the top 8.
