Egg Bowl proposal: Couple provides lone first-half highlight in Ole Miss vs. MSU
While tensions run high on the field at the Egg Bowl, there was love on the sidelines.
After the first quarter of game between Mississippi State and Ole Miss, a man proposed to his girlfriend, and she appeared to say yes. The couple seemed to be Mississippi State fans.

Unfortunately for fans at this year’s Egg Bowl, the proposal was just about the most exciting thing they’ve seen all night. Ole Miss leads 3-0 at halftime after what has been a snoozer of a start to the game. There have already been 11 punts in the game, and Ole Miss managed to sneak on the board late in the first half.
With the lack of excitement on the field, fans had lots of thoughts about Thursday night’s Egg Bowl proposal.
