We knew ESPN was planning to end its popular radio and TV program Mike & Mike but now we know when the final episode will air. ESPN announced Monday that Mike & Mike is coming to an end Nov. 17 with Golic & Wingo starting Monday, Nov. 27.

In case you were unaware, Mike Greenberg is being given his own solo show starting in January. His Mike & Mike co-host Mike Golic will be staying with the show, albeit in a new format with a new co-host in ESPN veteran Trey Wingo.

The Golic & Wingo show will air from 6 – 10 a.m. ET on ESPN2 before making a move to ESPNU in January. The program will also be carried on ESPN radio.

You may recall Golic got a little awkward when it was first revealed that Mike & Mike was going off the air.

“Yeah, this has been the worst kept secret for a long time,” Golic said on the air. “The last year and a half have been somewhat interesting — if not eyebrow-raising, as well. For me, it’s not my story to tell. I’m going to continue to do this exact same show, it’s for others to tell who made this decision — if they want to tell it and how they want to tell it. Not my story to tell.”

Considering the show came from the perspective of two people, it’s not hard to guess who Golic was calling out here.
