Erin Andrews suing Marriott for $75 million over nude tapes shot in hotels
Sportscaster Erin Andrews is suing Marriott for $75 million over a 2008 incident in which a man made secret nude tapes of her in her hotel room, according to an Associated Press report. At the time of the incident, Andrews was working on college football games for ESPN. She currently works for Fox.
The suit, filed in Nashville in 2010, was amended this week to include the amount she is seeking for negligence and invasion of privacy.
Michael David Barrett of Westmont, Illinois, pleaded guilty in 2009 in federal court of shooting videos of Andrews through altered peepholes in Nashville and Columbus, Ohio.
