Scott Van Pelt not buying that the Big Ten can pull off Thanksgiving weekend start
After all the posturing this offseason, there’s been some speculation that the Big Ten could decide to play this fall. Although the league wouldn’t get going until the normal regular season was about to end.
You can read more about that here.
While that would be exciting for the Big Ten players, coaches and fans of that league, ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt isn’t buying it.
“I can’t say this more clearly – this is nonsense,” he says in the clip below. “How the hell are you going to not play in the fall but start in November at Thanksgiving? While the season that will start in September is still going and marching to its Playoff? Just think it through. You can’t do that.”
