ESPN experts update bowl projections following Week 7 action

Most teams are now halfway through their 2019 seasons, and that means the bowl picture is starting to take shape.

Alabama and LSU are bowl-eligible already. Florida also has 6 wins, but 2 came against FCS teams, so they’re still a win away from being eligible.

This week, ESPN experts Kyle Bonagura and Mark Schlabach updated their bowl projections, and 9 SEC teams were included. See who is projected to play this postseason and where they’re expected to end up below:

Alabama

  • Bonagura: Peach Bowl (CFP) vs. Ohio State
  • Schlabach: Peach Bowl (CFP) vs. Clemson

Auburn

  • Bonagura: Gator Bowl vs. Michigan State
  • Schlabach: Outback Bowl vs. Minnesota

Florida

  • Bonagura: Outback Bowl vs. Iowa
  • Schlabach: Citrus Bowl vs. Penn State

Georgia

  • Bonagura: Citrus Bowl vs. Minnesota
  • Schlabach: Cotton Bowl vs. Boise State

Kentucky

  • Bonagura: Belk Bowl vs. North Carolina
  • Schlabach: Belk Bowl vs. North Carolina

LSU

  • Bonagura: Sugar Bowl vs. Texas
  • Schlabach: Sugar Bowl vs. Texas

Mississippi State

  • Bonagura: Liberty Bowl vs. TCU
  • Schlabach: Music City Bowl vs. NC State

South Carolina

  • Bonagura: Music City Bowl vs. Pitt
  • Schlabach: Gator Bowl vs. Iowa

Texas A&M

  • Bonagura: Texas Bowl vs. Oklahoma State
  • Schlabach: Texas Bowl vs. Oklahoma State
