After a Week 3 slate low on conference games and ranked-on-ranked action, that all changes in Week 4.

More SEC teams are starting to play each other, including Auburn and Texas A&M facing off at Kyle Field. Many weeks No. 8 at No. 17 would be the biggest game of the week in the conference, but the top-10 showdown in Athens is this week’s undisputed marquee matchup. ESPN’s Football Power Index has it all covered as far as everybody’s win probability.

ESPN’s FPI is explained below:

The Football Power Index (FPI) is a measure of team strength that is meant to be the best predictor of a team’s performance going forward for the rest of the season. FPI represents how many points above or below average a team is. Projected results are based on 10,000 simulations of the rest of the season using FPI, results to date, and the remaining schedule. Ratings and projections update daily.

Here is the FPI’s predicted win probability in every SEC Week 4 game:

  • Alabama (98.9 percent win probability) vs. Southern Miss
  • LSU (92.3 percent) at Vanderbilt
  • Tennessee at Florida (86.4 percent)
  • Ole Miss (62.1 percent) vs. Cal
  • Auburn at Texas A&M (54 percent)
  • Kentucky at Mississippi State (66.1 percent)
  • South Carolina at Missouri (63.6 percent)
  • Arkansas (88 percent) vs. San Jose State
  • Georgia (67.3 percent) vs. Notre Dame
