Missouri and Kentucky will face each other up next as SEC play continues on for both teams, with ESPN’s FPI listing the Wildcats as a slight favorite over the Tigers.

The FPI projects the outcome of every college football game during the season and has things coming out pretty close between the pair of teams. It gives Kentucky a 55.8% chance of coming out on top.

Mizzou comes into this one having fallen out of the rankings because of its 49-39 loss to the LSU Tigers this past week, while Kentucky stands at No. 24 in the nation after it was defeated, 51-13 by the No. 1-ranked Georgia Bulldogs in Week 6.

Mizzou has had arguably the most remarkable turnaround in college football this season, suffering just its first loss of the season on Saturday as a team that was formerly seen as one that had to fight to even become bowl eligible. Head coach Eli Drinkwitz’s plan seems to finally be coming together after some questionable play-calling last season. Starting quarterback Brady Cook also looks to have turned the corner.

It will be interesting to watch who comes out on top as Mizzou and Kentucky are set to kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday in Lexington, Kentucky.
