Fans loved Pat McAfee’s appearance on College GameDay

On Saturday morning, ESPN’s College GameDay was in Brookings, South Dakota, for the North Dakota State-South Dakota State rivalry game.

Former NFL punter Pat McAfee, now an ESPN broadcaster, was the celebrity guest picker, which seemed like an interesting choice since he went to West Virginia. The connection? McAfee served as former SDSU kicker Adam Vinatieri’s holder for about 10 years while both were with the Indianapolis Colts.

Vinatieri is still with the Colts, so he couldn’t make it to Brookings. He sent McAfee in his place. And fans absolutely loved it.
