When someone refers to fantasy football, it is often assumed that they’re talking about a roster of NFL players who play offense (in real life) on different teams. But fantasy college football also exists. Fantasy college football is different in some big way from the NFL version (larger player pool, cupcake weeks, etc), but when there’s a will, there’s a way.

Yahoo! Sports is gearing up for the coming fantasy season and shared Fantasy Pros rankings (along with Yahoo! Sports rankings and expert Adam Gorney’s rankings) for the college QBs. Here’s how the SEC quarterbacks stacked up as potential fantasy draftees:

Note: Fantasy Pros rankings cut off at 60. None of the candidates to become the starting QB at Arkansas made the top 60. Two Auburn quarterbacks, however, managed to make the top 60, resulting in 14 total SEC QBs.

  1. Alabama QB Tua Tagovaialoa (No. 1 overall)
  2. Texas A&M QB Kellen Mond (No. 9)
  3. Florida QB Feleipe Franks (No. 11)
  4. Missouri QB Kelly Bryant (No. 13)
  5. Ole Miss QB Matt Corral (No. 25)
  6. South Carolina QB Jake Bentley (No. 28)
  7. Mississippi State QB Keytaon Thompson (No. 35)
  8. Georgia QB Jake Fromm (No. 37)
  9. Tennessee QB Jarrett Guarantano (No. 40)
  10. LSU QB Joe Burrow (No. 42)
  11. Auburn QB Joey Gatewood (No. 47)
  12. Auburn QB Bo Nix (No. 57)
  13. Kentucky QB Terry Wilson (No. 59)
  14. Vanderbilt QB Riley Neal (No. 60)

In the overall rankings, some familiar names follow Tagovailoa: Oklahoma QB Jalen Hurts (No. 2), Texas QB Sam Ehlinger (No. 3), Ohio State QB Justin Fields (No. 4) and Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence (No. 5). The full 60 can be found in the article linked above.
