Finebaum caller interrupts rant to yell at cat: ‘Will you shut up, I’m trying to talk to Paul!’
A caller into the Paul Finebaum Show shared a hilarious moment with his cat during his conversation with Finebaum on Wednesday.
The caller, identified as Vance from Georgia, seemed to be in the midst of a rant about Colorado head coach Deion Sanders when he became agitated with his feline friend.
“Will you shut up, I’m trying to talk to Paul!” the man said before clarifying that he was speaking to his “damn cat!”
Here’s a clip of the moment, which even left Finebaum a bit bewildered:

Finebaum has seen it all through the years hosting an afternoon radio show, but even that may be a first for him.
Finebaum, as inquisitive as ever, managed to get Vance to shed some more light on his disruptive pets. He clarified that he has 2 cats, although it’s not clear which one was making noise during his call with Finebaum.
“They’re 2 feral cats and I brought them in the house in 2006, Paul,” Vance said.
We’ll see if Vance can provide answers to any other follow-up questions in the future. Finebaum’s next show starts at 2 p.m. ET on Thursday.
