The Hamilton Tiger-Cats were busy in the free agent market on Tuesday, and the two additions they made were former SEC athletes.

Per a release from the team, the Tiger-Cats are bringing in former Auburn OL Avery Young and ex-Arkansas DB Kevin Richardson.

Richardson is fresh out of Arkansas, where he spent the 2014 through 2018 seasons. Young, meanwhile, is a former NFL player after spending two seasons between the Miami Dolphins, Seattle Seahawks and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Both players will fill international slots on the Tiger-Cats’ roster. Hamilton finished the 2018 season with a record of 8-10.

What roles the two former SEC athletes carve out north of the border remains to be seen, but they have their homes for the 2019 season, at least.
