Tim Tebow’s return to the NFL has other players thinking about making a comeback.
Former NFL running back Brandon Jacobs tweeted that he’s seeking another professional opportunity. The former Auburn running back who finished his college career at Southern Illinois tweeted that he believes he is a better athlete than Tebow.
Well since Tebow came back after being off a good bit, I am announcing today that I to will comeback. I will play defensive end for whatever team gives me a chance!!!

I am really serious about coming back as a defensive end. I can still run, I am strong and there’s no way Tim Tebow is a better athlete than I am. I just need a shot that’s it!! If I can’t cut it I’ll take it like a man. Just give me one chance that’s all!!

While Jacobs has more NFL experience than Tebow, he has two strikes against him. Jacobs is 38, five years older than Tebow. Jacobs last played NFL football in the 2013 season, retiring in January 2014. Tebow’s last regular-season snaps came in 2012 with the New York Jets, though he continued to play football until 2015, signing with the Philadelphia Eagles in April of that year and then being cut on Sept. 5 ahead of the season opener.
