FOX Sports betting analyst Clay Travis shares SEC Week 6 gambling picks

Week 6 is setting up to be another loaded Saturday in the SEC. All but one conference team, Mississippi State, is in action. Missouri will host North Texas for homecoming, but the rest of the SEC slate features conference clashes.

FOX Sports betting analyst Clay Travis recently shared his gambling picks for the SEC Week 6 slate via his OutKick website.

Here’s how Travis is picking against the spread:

• Georgia at Auburn +15
• South Carolina at Tennessee -10.5
• Vanderbilt at Florida -38
• Arkansas +6 at Ole Miss
• LSU +3.5 at Kentucky (under 50.5 points)
• Alabama -17 at Texas A&M

Travis notably taking 3 underdogs to cover the spread.

He explained his Auburn pick, writing:

So why do I feel like this one could be close? Because Georgia’s due for a bit of a test at some point, and I feel like this game is it.

That doesn’t mean Auburn wins, but it does mean I think the Tigers cover the spread.

He similarly stopped short of picking Arkansas to upset Ole Miss

So why am I taking Arkansas here?

Their defense.

I think the Razorbacks bounce back and keep this a game until very late, maybe even stealing a road victory in Oxford.

Travis believes LSU will respond to the Ed Orgeron “hotseat” talk with some fight:

Everyone expects Kentucky to keep rolling and LSU to fall flat on their faces. Sure, that could happen, but I don’t buy LSU quitting right now. I think we’re in store for a defensive battle because Kentucky can’t score and LSU isn’t that explosive offensively.
