High school football is officially underway, and soon, elite prospects’ ridiculous plays will be featured on social media.

One of those plays happened Wednesday night, as the Columbus Explorers (Miami, Florida) defeated the Belen Jesuit Wolverines 41-7.

Three-star running back and Pittsburgh commit Henry Parrish Jr. had a ridiculous opening night, rushing for 324 yards and three touchdowns. Parrish’s third touchdown, however, was his best. He took the handoff from the quarterback who was in the shotgun and proceeded to break about seven tackles down the right sideline spinning and stiff-arming his way for the touchdown.

Although Parrish is committed to Pitt, plays like this will make it tough for the Panthers to hold on to him. If he has a big senior year, his recruitment could blow up. It happens all the time.

247Sports’ Andrew Ivins caught the score down the sideline:

Parrish is rated a 3-star prospect and ranks as the nation’s No. 63 overall running back and the state of Florida’s No. 127 overall player for the class of 2020, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

The latest SEC offer came from South Carolina in late July, and he already boasts offers from Tennessee and Miami, among others.
