ESPN released its Way-Too-Early Top 25 list on Friday per ESPN Senior Writer Mark Schlabach. There were some SEC programs that made the list.

The SEC had the most schools on the list with 7, with the B1G and ACC coming in 2nd with 4 schools. There were also 3 Pac-12 and Big 12 schools mentioned, with 2 Independent and AAC schools as well. Schlabach used returning players, key additions, and key departures to justify what teams were on the list.

Here’s who made it from the SEC, and where they ranked:

  • No. 1 Alabama
  • No. 3 Georgia
  • No. 5 Texas A&M
  • No. 20 Arkansas
  • No. 21 Ole Miss
  • No. 23 Kentucky
  • No. 24 Tennessee

With a few months left before the 2022 regular season is underway, it’s going to be fun to see how Top 25 will look towards the end of the year.

The 1st SEC game of the year will be on Aug. 27 when Vanderbilt takes on Hawaii in Honolulu.
