Hot mic catches NSFW outburst from Mississippi State player after penalty

Hot mics are the bane of every live TV producer’s existence. You never know what is going to happen and what’s going to be picked up.
That was certainly true on Saturday night in Starkville. Late in the fourth quarter of Alabama’s blowout win over Mississippi State, the Bulldogs were flagged for a penalty.
Let’s just say one member of the Bulldogs wasn’t thrilled with the call, as you can hear by the very NSFW comment he made near the ref that was loudly captured by the ESPN broadcast:

Yep, everyone in Starkville was able to hear that hot mic moment. That’s going to draw some FCC attention ESPN’s way.
Mississippi State didn’t have many good moments in the 40-17 loss to the Crimson Tide. Things aren’t going well for the Bulldogs under first-year head coach Zach Arnett. We’ll see if they can turn things around going forward, but it’s tough sledding in Starkville these days.
