With all of the SEC teams providing Game 1 depth charts, it’s a good chance to step back and see how many will be relying on freshmen in 2016.

While all the charts aren’t constructed the same, for our purposes, we considered two-deep mentions of freshmen.

Here’s the extent of freshman involvement on the two-deep depth chart for each team, with a special mention given for which true freshmen are expected to see the field.

East

Florida: The Gators list a handful of freshmen in their two-deep chart — six on both offense and defense. None is expected to start, but second-teamers include freshmen at wide receiver, four offensive line spots, one defensive lineman, all three linebackers, and two defensive backs.

True freshmen named are Josh Hammond as a second-team wide receiver, Jawaan Taylor as second-team right tackle, second-string linebackers Jeremiah Moon and David Reese, and second team defensive backs Chauncey Gardiner (corner) and Jeawon Taylor (safety).

Georgia: The Bulldogs have only QB Jacob Eason listed as a freshman on offense, and he reportedly will open behind Greyson Lambert.

Defensively, freshmen feature as backups along the defensive line, with true freshmen Michael Carter, Tyler Clark, Julian Rochester, and David Marshall all bracketed for second-team defensive line spots. True freshman Marshall Long is also bracketed for the punter job.

Kentucky: UK has a handful of freshmen listed on both sides of the ball, with two backup offensive linemen, a backup receiver, and a bracketed starter at receiver. Defensively, UK has a bracketed starter and three projected freshmen backups, as well as true freshman punter Grant McKinniss, who is bracketed to start. Other true freshmen named are backup left tackle Landon Young, backup middle linebacker Kash Daniel, and reserve cornerbacks Jordan Griffin and DeVonte Robinson, who are bracketed together for a second-string spot.

Missouri: The Tigers list five freshmen on offense and four on defense. Three reserve offensive linemen are noted, as are two wide receivers who are bracketed for starting spots, including true frosh Dimetrios Mason. Defensively, the Tigers have true freshman linebacker Cale Garrett and cornerbacks Christian Holmes and DeMarkus Acy in line for second team spots. True freshman place kicker Tucker McCann is also listed as a starter.

South Carolina: The Gamecocks list seven offensive players in the two-deep as freshmen, but only three on defense. True freshmen Chavis Dawkins, Korey Banks, and Randrecous Davis are all listed as backup receivers, with fellow true frosh Bryan Edwards expected to start at receiver. QB candidates Brandon McIlwain and Jake Bentley are in a three-way bracket to start, and both are true freshmen. True freshmen D.J. Wonnum and Keir Thomas are listed as defensive line reserves.

Tennessee: Tennessee lists five freshmen on offense and four on defense. True freshman tackle Marcus Tatum is expected to back up starter (and redshirt freshman) Drew Richmond. True frosh receivers Marquez Callaway and Tyler Byrd are second-team mentions. UT also lists freshmen defensive backs Baylen Buchanan, Marquill Osborne (both corners) and Nigel Warrior (safety) with second-team spots.

Vanderbilt: The Commodores named only three offensive second-teamers and one defensive reserve to their two-deep depth chart from their freshman class. Left tackle Devin Cochran and backup punter Sam Loy are the only true freshmen on Vandy’s two-deep.

West

Alabama: Veteran tendencies aside, Alabama lists six freshmen in the two-deep on offense and four on defense. True freshman Jonah Williams is expected to start at right tackle, with tight ends Miller Forristall and Irv Smith Jr. battling for a back-up role. True frosh Jalen Hurts is listed among three options at QB. Defensively, true freshman linebacker Anfernee Jennings, cornerback/nickleback Shyheim Carter are listed as second-team options. Mack Wilson was one of three listed at middle linebacker.

Arkansas: The Razorbacks named five freshmen to their two-deep on offense and three more on defense. Redshirt freshman Colton Jackson is expected to start at right tackle, and true freshman Hayden Johnson is the starting fullback. Defensively, true frosh defensive tackles Austin Capps and McTelvin Agim are running second-team, and middle linebacker De’Jon Harris is also listed as a backup.

Auburn: The Tigers named a whopping nine freshmen to their two-deep chart on offense, with five more on defense. Of note for true freshmen, Landon Rice is the second team h-back/tight end, with Nate Craig-Myers, Eli Stove, and Kyle Davis second-team at wide receiver. Defensively, true frosh tackle Derrick Brown and cornerback John Broussard, Jr., are second-string, and of course, defensive end Marlon Davidson will start as a true freshman.

LSU: LSU lists only a trio of linebackers as freshmen on their two-deep depth chart, in terms of offense or defense. Michael Divinity is listed as a starter as a true freshman, and he will be backed up by true freshman Ray Thornton, with true freshman Devin White backing up at an inside linebacker spot. In the special teams, true freshmen are backups at kicker and punter, where redshirt freshman Josh Growden will start. The Tigers listed several freshman as third options, especially in the secondary.

Mississippi State: State listed six offensive players and five defenders. The only true freshman is Marquiss Spencer, who is a 6-3, 270 pounder listed as the viper position, which appears to be a hybrid defensive end/linebacker spot. Five-star defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons, who was suspended for the opener after video showed him beating a woman while he was in high school, was not listed.

Ole Miss: The Rebels list eight freshmen in their offensive two-deep chart, and four defenders. True freshmen Van Jefferson (wide receiver) and Myles Hartsfield (safety) are expected to start. True freshmen backups include wide receiver D.K. Metcalf, left tackle Greg Little, quarterback Shea Patterson, defensive tackle Benito Jones, and safety Deontay Anderson.

Texas A&M: The Aggies named five freshmen to their offensive two-deep and two more to the defensive chart. True freshman Colton Prater is slated to start at left guard, to be backed up by true frosh Ryan McCollum. Austin Anderson is a true freshman backup at center, and Trayveon Williams is bracketed in a three-way split for the starting tailback job as a true freshman.
