Coveted Tennessee lineman Jacob Hood updates his recruitment, names top schools
Jacob Hood found a unique way to celebrate his birthday.
He decided that was the perfect time to narrow down his options for college and announce his current list of top schools.
The Nashville native from Hillsboro High School is one of the most coveted prospects from the state of Tennessee but according to his top five, he plans on playing his college football outside of the Volunteer State.
The 6-foot-8, 342-pound Hood currently has Auburn, Georgia, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Miami as his top five schools he announced on Thursday. Hood also holds scholarship offers from LSU, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Michigan and Michigan State, among others.
According to 247Sports Composite Rankings, Hood is rated as a three-star recruit, the No. 41 offensive tackle prospect and the No. 14 overall recruit from the state of Tennessee in the 2022 recruiting cycle.
Hood recently visited Auburn and is set to visit Georgia this weekend as the NCAA has lifted the dead period in recruiting.
