Jaden Rashada, elite 4-star SEC QB target, sets commitment plans
Jaden Rashada, one of the top quarterbacks in the class of 2023, is ready to make his commitment. After picking up 32 scholarship offers, Rashada has narrowed things down to a final 5 ahead of his Sunday commitment announcement.
Four SEC programs – Florida, LSU, Ole Miss and Texas A&M – join Miami in Rashada’s final 5. Earlier this month, JUCO defensive back Ramon Rashada, Jaden’s younger brother, committed to Ole Miss.

A 6-4, 185-pounder of Pittsburg (California), Rashada is rated 4-stars, the No. 7 quarterback and No. 45 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2023 on the 247Sports Composite. He previously planned to make his commitment a week ago, but pushed his decision back and took one last visit to Miami. The Hurricanes are now the favorite to land Rashada’s verbal pledge.
We’re not far from finding out if the experts are right or if Rashada decides to play in the SEC. Rashada will announce his decision at 4 p.m. ET Sunday on the CBS Sports HQ streaming channel.
