Jeff Fisher’s name has been mentioned in connection with a number of coaching jobs since he was fired by the Los Angeles Rams during the 2016 season.
He spent the 2021 season as an advisor to Eddie George at Tennessee State, but now he’s a head coach again.
As you can see below, the Michigan Panthers of the new USFL announced Fisher as their new head coach via Twitter on Thursday:

Fisher, in his lengthy coaching career with the Rams and Titans, has an overall record of 173-165-1. He went 5-6 in postseason play, winning 1 AFC title with the Titans.
The USFL will play a 10-game season this spring. We’ll see how Fisher and the Panthers fare.
