Joel Klatt gave his thoughts on a huge SEC matchup this weekend between Ole Miss and Georgia on his show Thursday afternoon.

The Bulldogs are looking to keep their perfect record unblemished and reach another College Football Playoff, but Ole Miss is gunning for a huge win that could put them in the CFP conversation.

Georgia will have the home field advantage in this one, and playing in Athens at night is no easy task.

Klatt gave Ole Miss credit for what has been a great season so far, but ultimately recognized that Georgia has been the better team this season.

“I like Jaxson Dart, and I like Lane Kiffin and Quinshon Judkins has been running the ball a lot better than he was to begin the year…” Klatt said. “But this is Georgia. This is a team even without Carson Beck, when they want to, they can announce their presence with authority and I think that they will in this game.”

Georgia hasn’t lost since the 2021 SEC Championship, and the Bulldogs aren’t looking to lose this weekend. Klatt respects what Ole Miss has done, but at the end of the day, it hasn’t been enough to convince him that the Rebels can take down Georgia.

“Ole Miss is a cute story, but they’re not Georgia,” Klatt said.
